E-Stay E-Stay E-Stay!

Not had one for a while so thank you to onza100 for holding onto this one for me after you-know-what cancelled any sort of travel plans.

I have nearly all the parts hanging around so it wont be a labour of love, just a quick polish and assembly.

Paint and decals are pretty sound.

Better pics tomorrow.

Some progress

Definitely a 1992 fork,

Headset from spares bin.

Just a question of shifting left to decide. I could use a spare set of XT thumbies, I could use some Suntour XC 8spd thumbies, I could use some DX STI

Chainset will be XT with silver rings. although I do have a nice 550 LX to hand

You'd think I'd be better at build threads by now

Just about finished.

Threw in all the 'nice' stuff I had left, cleaned and greased it all, faffed a bit, faffed a bit more and here it is.

BB is a UN72

Chainset is M730 XT

Wheels are ARAYA VP-20 om M550 LX hubs with crusty Tioga Psssycho II, HG70 cassette

F&R mechs are M550 LX

DX brake / shifter combo

Brakes are M734 XT I have had from new

Jobs to do are to possibly change the stem and definitely change to thumbies later and look for a nicer seatpost.

Nice! Bit of a Saracen fan here. Even the colour matched cable outer space work very well.
