Departing from the XTR gruppo are the hub skewers and seatpost QR, from Miche.

Also away from the XTR gruppo is the seatpost. For this, as well as the cockpit, Peugeot selected Ritchey Quality Components: Force Directional Comp Mountain seatpost and Force Comp Mountain stem made by Nitto and Easton-made ProLite handlebar. Beautiful!

Last components not picked out of the XTR gruppo are the MXP-110 binding pedals from MKS. I was lucky enough to locate a NIB pair, thus including the original shoe clips, since the MKS assembly is not compatible with Shimano SPD or onZa High Output system that is fitted on all my other bikes.

For the wheels, the French industry came to the rescue: 36-hole Mavic M231 Ceramic rims, Michelin rim tapes, Hutchinson Butyl inner tubes and On The Rocks II tires.

The remaining plastic parts all came from Plastiche Cassano: ProGrip 745 MTB handlebar grips (found three NOS pairs for other projects!) and chainstay guard.

In 46cm (medium) size frame, my Team Line 2000 weights 12.2kg, including the 445g MKS pedals. Readily available for real use are a pair of onZa High Output pedals and rideable Panaracer Smoke/Dart Classic tires. But these are beyond the scope of this autopsy, that I hope you enjoyed ;-)
