Hello everybody
First things first this is an un-official collaborative build with, I believe, Northerndave.
Collaborative in the sense that I bought this as a complete bike (minus pedals) and as someone that’s got a couple of builds under their belt I know that getting it to the point it was was no mean feat.
Points are awarded in this game for vision, style and tenacity!
To be honest I went for this for two reasons:
- I wanted a SAB rider and I didn’t have patience to wait to finish my own build
- It was already pretty much in the classic style I wanted (cooks, ringle etc etc)
I’ve changed:
- 9 speed XT cassette (?) for an 8 speed XT
- XT rear mech for M900
- XTR canti’s for NOS MachineTech
- Chill Pills for unfinished Grafton Fat Fingers
- Cane Creek S2 headset for CK Sour Apple
- No pedals for NOS sharkbites
Now I’m a set of skewers away from done!
Couldn’t be happier with it, it’s blinking lovely.
