Dislocated shoulder leads to 2x retro bike rebuilds....

Since dislocating my shoulder last month I had some time spare to tidy up my garage, and rebuild a few of the bikes I found....
1 is odd, querky and maybe 'rare' but who know's? Early 90's but some parts were prototypes...
2 is just an old non elevated Proflex for the missus to ride.
Both got striped down and cleaned and then put back together ready to ride.

Very nice. I like the RST Brakes - not seen them before. How well do they work?

Well they work, but with a 140mm rear disk and spongy cables I'm not sure I will run these off road. Should be be ok as my work/commute bike.

Re:

Those RST cable disc brakes look new.
I have an old set the same somewhere in my pile of crap, first disc brakes I ever bought way back when. Didn't think they were any improvement from the Dia Compe V brakes (similar to XTs with the same parallel linkage for pads) I had previously. They soon got ditched in favour of Hope XC4s with +20mm adaptors for bigger discs than the Hope originals, which were tiny at 150mm F, 130mm R, I think.

Re:

Got it dirty :)
Chickened out on running cable brakes.
Tires were not ideal for the wet roots
At least my shoulder was OK, shame about the heart/lung/legs....lol
