1985 Ridgeback XT

I picked up this bike at a bike jumble.
After a lot or research and help from other people it turned out to be a 1985 Ridgeback XT.
It's going to be restored to (almost) original spec.

Not yet, the frame and brake levers are going to be powdercoated next week.
I have some replacement (almost) identical bullmoose bars.
Gil is sorting out the replacement decals.
Currently the plan is to powdercoat, put decals on then lacquer it.

There seems to be a few layers under the green paint. A darkest layer, presumably primer, then a slightly lighter blue/grey. On top of that is a very very thin layer of silver. I assume this was the colour or the frame. It's very thin and even light sanding of the green goes through it. Y u can see it around the green on the left hand side of the picture. Hopefully there will be some untouched paint on the steerer.

Most likely the origional colour.
