I have NOS set of Tioga Prestige II bars on mine...suit it very well :D

Can you tell me what the seatpost is on yours please?

Actually, have Prestige bars too. I got them from mfh126 a while back. I will see which look better.

I believe it is the spec seat post, Strong PM-30

Thanks for that....I am thinking there is zero chance of finding an original one of those. :?

Were your bars from Mikes Tomac Mongoose ? :D

So this one is finished. I overhauled all of the bearings and shined the paint a bit. There are a number of scratches, but this one will be a lunch time rider and stored at work. Also, I had to change the white bars. I wanted to leave it original, but couldn't stand the sight of those white bars. I also changed the brake levers. The original were badly faded by the sun. I put on XT 733s. I will look on eBay for the correct levers. Oh, I also replaced the U-brake, same part number, but in silver. I had to go with a longer seatpost and Farmer John(cousin & nephew) tires.

Yeah, something about the U-brake. I love it.

I don't have a scale, but it isn't as light as an aluminum bike should be.

Nice job....you found the original spec saddlle..been looking for ages for one of those with the gel intact.
