Koga-miyata Sky Expension 1997 downhill

Hi all,

I'm posting this bike because it's a rare bike.
The people at koga miyata told me they just made 15 ore 20 bikes over 2years.
In 1995 it was blue.
It's not ready yet and not with orginal parts.
I will post more pictures when it's rideable.

Wow, I thought I had an early one... Nice bike with an ingteresting suspension design. Curious how will turn out and even more how it will ride.

Very nice, E-stone.

You're right, the 1996 model was blue. It came with Cook Bros cranks, Machine Tech hubs and stem, Zero QR and a lot XTR. The 1995 frame was a double diamond frame, the same frame as Miyata's Elevation 12,000. 1995 was the last year for Miyata Japan frames.

Wow! Really unusual bike.

Amazing to see the riding position on downhill bikes back in the day compared to the sitting up position nowadays.

thats a crazy looking thing but cool, excuse my mahusive ignorance but whats it made of, is the front triangle carbon or a super smooth alloy box section thing?
