If you guys have any more information on this beauty I'd be ecstatic. I've searched thick and thin for more info on this particular frame or any info on the stock setup, but have found less than 10 total pictures of it online.

I'm 99% sure this is my frame. The top tube decal is identical but their down tube Giant logo looks different (possible re-decal job). Is their date ('97) correct? How did I do on this particular CL find? Thanks!

edit:
I'll upload pictures when I get by the garage to take them. It's currently in pieces as it needs some work.

Current fork is a some cromoly rigid by a brand I've never heard of and can't remember atm.
Shimano Deore XT components and broken grip-shifters ESP 9.0.

I can't see any pictures in your link but if it is an 890 then mine can be seen here:

I had it in the factory spec from new but have since made a few tweaks to it :D

Whoa, totally forgot about this thread. Bike looks great, NakedGav.

Looks like the pictures are dead on the original link.

It's an ATX 890 hardtail that's chrome in color (not yellow) and has the "World Cup XC" decal on the top tube IIRC. I might have to dig it out of the garage and finish it now that I've been reminded of it's existence, haha.
