1997 Gt Lts 2000 ds

Hi

I've just bought a gt Lts 2000 ds of eBay and will be collecting in a day or two, I thinking about updating the rear shock first anyone have some good option ideas for me ?

cleaned up a little, it had a snapped rear axle so i wsapped in a bolt axle for now as my local shop had no quick release axles in stock. i changed over the grips and brake cables but thats all ive done. im planing on changing the forks for some single crowns and changing the rear shock for an air shock of some sort maybe some new bars too as i dont like how much the current xlites sweep back

nowt wrong with those judy XLs, i found them pretty damn good forks when i was running them on my FSR.

as for the rear shock arent the ones on these LTS of an odd design which could make a replacement an issue.

if you do want to part with those judys though drop me a PM

Hi and cheers guys (who's saying hi to me as little Matt ?)

I noticed a potential problem today there is a crack on the pinch bolt top pivot point of the frame, it looks like at some point some one has over tightened it and it's cracking near the bolt. I'm not sure if this is a detrimental issue or not yet , I could probably weld this myself if I had acces to some kit but I'd have to weld it around with no more pinch bolt hmmm any ideas guys ?
