1994 Steve Potts Steelhead

Recently acquired and now on its business class trip to Europe. Can't wait. 1 of 12 made Steve Potts Steelhead, which he manufactured on demand for a group of riders in 1994. They wanted stiffer and indestructible bikes and that is what he came up with. Steeper angles than the CCR, heavier tubes and the famous Type II fork + all the roller cam galore from back then.

I was lucky enough to come first and have great conversations with the owner of the bike, who is one of those riders. So sale from 1st hand that is with only 5 miles on it as he stored it away right after picking it up and went back to sea for his work. Now it ended up with me and i can't describe how happy i am. Especially as we share the same measurements, so it should fit perfectly.

This is a picture from the owner, i will post more once i have it here and back up on the wheels.

Beautiful Moritz. Looks to be in great shape and a lovely colour

That looks really lovely and i'm really interested to see how it rides as that h stem looks really tall  ...

So clean. So cool. Is this the original build? Post up a parts list? I know this was sold as frame and fork but still curious. Any fresh information from the seller about Steelheads or the people who bought them? By the time I got mine, it had been through a few owners. Not nearly as pretty as yours but such a fun rider. Halaburt, you and I. Nine more to find.
