The Warrington RC are holding a memorial two-up time trial on 10 October for their past member, the cartoonist Johnny Helms. They have invited lots of 'names from the past' to ride including such greats as Brian Robinson, Stan Brittain, Sid Barrass, Les West, Dave Bonner, Paul Bennett. It should be a great event to go and watch and full details, including a start sheet, are available here -
