Apologies if this is morose in anyway, my Dad died of cancer last year and I've been tasked with doing something with his bike. Before I donate it to the Bike Station, in case anyone fancies it any proceeds will go to a suitable charity (Weston Park, Sheffield or Macmillan).
It was bought for his birthday about 23 years ago, at which point it was already a bit retro (I believe its an '87 vintage). It didn't get used much and it is generally very good condition - wheels could do with a spot of chromosol but the whole thing has very little in the way of rust. The frame itself is 60cm and paintwork is sound.
The only "customisation" which was as-bought are the handlebars and brake levers which I guess could be easily replaced if the original spec is sought.
I'm in Edinburgh, would prefer not to post. Travel down to Chesterfield every few weeks so can drop off in between.
If I need to put a price on, lets say £100 - 100% going to charity. Happy to go offers, won't be offended if reasonable.
