I'm reluctantly selling my 1963 Hetchins Experto Crede with Orthodox rear stays. The frame was supplied new on the 7th of September 1963 and is known to the Hetchins register.

I am the third owner and I got it from the second who owned it from 1968 on. He used it extensively for road racing in period; also cyclo cross and light touring. He latterly used it for winter training.

I had the frame was renovated at Bob Jackson Cycles last year after 20 years disuse receiving a new seat binder, seat tube, headbadge and paint finish in Ruby Red flam with black panels and gold lining and transfers. There are three or four 'dings' on the frame with the most noticeable being on the drive side of the top tube. I chose to leave these present as Donald advised me they were not structural and as silly as it may sound they are part of the bikes history.

I was going to ride her in the L'Eroica Britannia this year but now have other plans.

I am looking to get around £1250 if possible.

Cheers
