8 Speed mtb for 1997 Stumpjumper M2

To replace my worn Sugino CSS 3 CSP3 42R
32 22 Triple chainrings

NOS would be lovely please, cash waiting, PayPal etc etc

I'm happy to arrange collection if postage is a problem

What have you got ? Sugino, LX, XT, XTR, other ?

Sorry, it's a 5 arm

Currently the original Specialized Strong Arm cranks with Sugino rings.

So it's ok to use 9 speed or 10 speed with my 8 speed cassette and chain ?

Yes - you can use 9/10 speed rings with 6/7/8

If you find the cassette and chain are knackered too, why not try a 9spd chain? The shift really nice and because they are externally narrower (but the same internal as 8spd) they seem to shift a bit nicer and give less chatter through the front mechs.

Plus theres some really nice shiny ones too!
