Raleigh Professional 531 Frameset (Large size)

Does anyone know of a 1980s Raleigh Professional frameset around 58-61cm C-T seat tube?

I don't really want anything that needs refinishing, but the odd mark here & there would be acceptable.

Would consider a complete bike, but a frameset is preferred.

Ive got one..

Looks about 58cm, maybe 60?

It is frame and fork only now, parts have been stripped.


Im in north London but can pack and post..

i think he's looking for something handbuilt from raleigh - your bike looks to
be a standard production frame and i reckon a 22 1/2" judging by the photo..

yup, you're looking for one of the ilkeston built SBDU frames . .the frame numbers started with SB---- etc

If that bike was originally pale blue then its probably a pro mk IV from 1971 ish which I thought was for the US market only. OP wants a finished frame :)

Maybe the OP could narrow his field a bit ?
