Have just bought a second-hand group-set to upgrade my Peugeot Pro, and want a frame to donate the old down-tube shifter groupset to, making a winter hack/commuting/trainer bike.
I am after a steel or Cromo frame of the appropriate size, with down-tube shifter mounts and preferavly 130mm rear spacing.
Consider just about anything with mudguard eyes (Dawes, Raleigh, Peugeot, Claude Butler etc) and does not have to be special tubing or in mint condition, as it will be not much more than a hack.
Any offers ?
