French thread headset lockring

Can anybody help me ? Headset locking is knackered but don't want to buy a whole new headset. Anybody have one lying around?

I think I have what you are looking for. I have a lockring off an 80s Pug here, and I'm pretty sure it is French thread. Let me know if you are still looking.
