Looking for a frame with horizontal (forward facing) dropouts, cantilever/v brake mounts and decent tyre clearance for 38mm with mudguards.

Could be older or newer, eg a 54cm surly cross-check, older Dawes galaxy or horizon. Various Raleighs, Claud butlers, saracens and so on.

Looking for a rider not a showbike. Max top tube would be 57cm.

I have a Peugeot Savoie in 54cm size (need to double check). Reynolds 531 with chrome forks.

Great touring frame with horizontal drop outs, canti lugs, 3(!) sets of bottle mounts etc.
