Hi chaps. Looking at getting a super light road bike made from a carbon xc frame.
Want to stick lots of nice parts on it and make it as individual as possible.
Pre requisites are black. Bit of colour acceptable but not too much, must show the weave not overly expensive, 26".
So far I've found a Ridley ignite and a Merida FLX 900.
Anyone owned either or any other suggestions??
Aim is to get it looking stealthy as possible. Ninja on a bicycle :)

There has been several versions over the years, with different colours and various amounts of carbon on show.

Here's mine:

Re:

Are you going to fit rigid forks? The 2008 and earlier versions, like the ones above, had 80mm travel forks, whereas after that I think they went to 100mm, so the earlier versions had a lower front end which might work better if your fitting rigids.

Re: Carbon frame road bike

chinese frame on aliexpress .

good value for money .

Re:

Yea I've seen them on fleabay too. Just can't bring myself to buy one and be positive it will not fall apart.

That XTC looks lush in all black.
Think we have a winner, now to find one in fab condition :)

Re:

I'd previously looked at the whippet, but was put off by how fussy they were with components fitting.
Shame cos they look a nice frame!
