I have just got my hands on this. 1998 Super V 400. Mavic 521's XT rear mech. Medium size. My first full suspension bike in over 25 years of riding mountain bikes. I have stuck a set of Kenda 2.2 tyres on it so I could ride it but think it needs something smaller. Open to suggestions for what tyres to put on it.
My plans are to run it pretty much as it is. It needs a new fork boot, probably some straight bars and a thoroughly good clean. Oh and a top cap for the forks so they will lock out if they can lock out, they are P bone D forks.
It rides much better than i was expecting!
