Removing IS mount.

Am never going to use these brake mounts on this bike.

Can I cut, grind and remove this on my suspension forks?

Want it to look smoother.

if you are 100 percent sure that you will never need it and won't sell the bike, then do it - it is after all excess weight. I removed v-brake bosses from a rockshox SID fork for that reason.

I used a hacksaw, an angle grinder - be careful as one slip and cause much damge - and then finished off with a dremel sanding disc.

personally I think you are making a mistake and should be fittinng discs but hey, your choice to stick with archaic vees.

It's on a 1995 Hahanna, sorry ...... should be in retro really.
It's my second bike and retro and will never want discs.

Wasn't sure how much of the internals are under the mounts.

I have the tools here for the job, no worries there :)
