Anyone familiar with these? I have stripped and rebuilt some jr t, s so I have the ability but im not familiar with this air/oil combo. I intend to strip , clean and put new oil in these do I just let the air out strip from the bottom bolt take the top cap valve combo out remove the stanchions clean and rebuild or is there more to it?
How much oil do I use?
The online manual suggests 40 to 50 psi of air is this right for 13 stone?
Anything else?
I dont know how long they have stood about but im guessing a few years, they bounce ok but sound squelchy is this normal? The seals appear to be intact and not leaking so im no looking to replace them just give the insides a decent clean as im sure the oil will be no good now.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
How can I tell the travel and if they have the upgrade kit for the valving ssv/ssvf?
