paratrooper folding MTB

And this one:

I know someone who has one of these, in olive green too :D

I thought it was full-sus until I looked closer and realised it actually folds at the seat tube.

The one I've seen has some low-end Shimano kit on it though, and unbranded suspension forks, and for a "Paratrooper" bike which I guess is supposedly air-portable it's quite portly.

It's like this one...

'airportable' in always makes me laugh, the 'lightweight' airportable land rovers weighed a tonne whereas the standard swb landies' are 3/4 tonnes.

Yes but the airportable ones have hubs that allow a/p cable attachment and won't shear off if airlifted and uprated springs, engine mounts etc to absorb airdrop impacts and a bit more underbody protection. Drop a kitted up lightweight from 4 metres and the engine will jump out of the bonnet.

I saw a guy riding one of these at Glyncorrwg a couple of weeks ago, we all thought it was a mantra at first glance until I noticed there was no shock
