I have both and the Flux is definitely softer padded.

I don't think more padding makes for a comfort saddle although a lit of it is down to personal preference. I had two Charge Spoons and think that they are ok, it think that my I Fly is comfort despite have no rails and being little more than some plastic with leather over the top.

The Flux is the one I want if just jumping on that bike to ride but put some padded bum shorts on and I actually prefer the Spoon it seems more "fitted".

I have both, no real discernable difference so I'd go with whatever is cheaper!
