I have bought a set of wheels with some Chris King hubs but the rims (Mavic 819 disc rims) are pretty abused according to the seller, so will be looking to use the hubs for a new wheel build. The wheels are being built for trail riding and I dont need something thats too heavy weight as I dont go downhilling with reckless abandon! The hubs are ISO disc, but maybe used with either magura rim brakes or disc. But, if they are fitted with disc only rims so be it, they havent got to be rim brake compatable! So, if you had the choice what rim would you use? I like a bit of colour and the hubs are silver in colour, so liking something like mavic X517 sunsets at the moment. What would you choose?
