Marin B17 Shock Size? (or how do I measure size and stroke)

I have a new toy. A marin DH FRS - which is the same as a B17 but different colour really.

Anyone know what size shock I need for a B17?

If not how do I measure it? Leave the bike with no rider, measure the eye to eye with a ruler? How do I measure stroke.

Im guessing 190x50 though.

Measure as per the top pic, fully extended. Shock eye to eye & stroke are the two measurements you need.

For a new shock both measurements must be the same as the old shock to prevent any issues

fairly sure the vanilla R on mine is 200mm eye to eye, will check tomorrow if no-one else can confirm it.

Edit: unless i'm measuring wrong it's 200mm eye to eye with 60mm stroke

Cyfa - yep, i'm lucky. Been after one for a long time and got one at last.
