but i cant find the answer :oops:

Want to change the seat clamp to a QR style on my 99 FSR, what size do i need, or how and where do i measure? And does anyone recommend a brand?

Dont know size. Use a vernier to measure the seat tube diameter (on the outside).
I recommend GUB :cool:
 
ok, gone all technical and even turned the main light on. Took the seat post out and current clamp off. I get different measurements, the tube is slightly oval.

Wall of the tube is 2mm, seat post is 30.9mm, which would mean 34.9mm clamp?

There are 168 of that size on the bay of e, including GUB ones
 
Yeah that does sound much more like it!
