I have a 1998 Klein Attitude Comp in as new condition which has covered approx 20 miles from new (purchased by me) .I am considering fitting a Fox Talas fork and using the bike .Would I be better selling it and buying a new bike rather than spoiling it by getting it bashed on the trails.I look at the beautiful blue metallic paint and am afraid to use it!! I also have aTREK 7000 from the same era which does the job. The Klein is a 19" LARGE frame.

Just ride it, that's what it was built to do :)

As for the fork, I'm not sure what travel fork the frame was designed for, but it would most probably be a 100mm travel XC type fork, so you may be ok with the Talas.
