mini mono pads - Alu backed?

I heard of some aftermarket pad makers doing 'superlight' alu backed brake pads (A2Z, Discobrakes). Not been able to find any for my mini monos though. Anyone know if they are available and where to get 'em?

mono minis? - kool stop do them at 16gr a pair

Not really sure on the standard weight. I found an interesting article a guy wrote about putting his brakes on a weight weenine diet to save a few grams. Fancy doing the same on my Hopes.

well compared to 8g :shock: a pair those kool stop ones are hardly light

i reckon organic would be the lightest?
you sure you didnt read that a chap had the ultralight mini mono pro??

they have the superlights for others here but not for minis
and not the a2z ones that i can see either :?
