I saw that one, only the largest ring is a M950 wich should be a M900. But still they look ok.

LTS,

wasn't it you that posted that website with all the XTR m950/1/2 info that helped me decided on a 952 4 bolt ch'set?

If so, tell me, will an M950 Crank arm fit a 952 4 bolt outer ring/ spider? Are the interfaces the same?

Thanks

Gus

Yes, that my work of art. (kouch) :)
And yes it should fit, the M950/M952 cranks are practically the same, only the pedal ends on the cranks (I heard) are a bit wider on the M952.
It's mostly the design in chainrings which changed. If you can find a separate 4-arm spider it should fit the same crank.

I presume the 4 bolt and 5 bolt spider/ outer rings had the same interface too?

Yes as far as I know all 50 series are the same.
I have a XTR DH ring, but it's a ring without a spider, so I guess the also offer a 4-arm spider, without the ring. I have only seen 5-arm spiders (without rings)

Thanks pal, that helps a lot. Am starting to stockpile 952 for a bleak future without it available.

:-)
