I’m guessing he’s taking about the year he installed them on the bike?

I'm guessing you're guessing correctly.

If the price isn't a typo then I wish the seller the best of luck in getting the asking price!

Love the cheap low spec plastic cup BB that’s damaged and non matching wheel QR’s. What a dreamer! I’d put in a low ball offer but I don’t actually want the bike in case he takes it.

I messaged the seller to query the asking price. It is intentional and not a typo.
He's testing the water.
There is a large element of emotional attachment to the bike due to length of ownership, it being a gift etc, hence the inflated price.
I can kind of understand that, and it only takes one person with deep enough pockets and desperate need to make a purchase, so you never know!

Without knowing much about them as Ultimates go though, it doesn't seem to me to be the best example, instead it would be a decent project at the right price.
