To be fair to it it is the sort of bike I would have lusted after when I got my first MTB, a Falcon Beartrap.

MBK was the french importator for Kestrel and Klein in 1990.
MBK made those fade neon colors on all their bikes in 1990 before Klein (1992 catalog…) ;)
 
If you can't tell/don't know, that's not metallic/flip paint, it's just painted two different neon colours on the vertical and horizontal facing sides.

I have a pink and lilac MBK road bike painted in that manner - that might just have dated it as 1990, thanks.
