Hi all,
I have for sale a set of Pace RC41 XCAM forks. I have not owned this particular set from new as I bought them as a spare set for my RC405, which in the end I sold. The forks have been hanging up in my garage for the last 3 years, out of harm's way, so are pretty much as they were when they were removed from the bike. These forks are the last of their breed of UK manufactured carbon forks and are increasingly rare.
Would like around £80 for them, but will accept offers!
Here's some pics:
The carbon legs are in good condition. They have a few marks here and there, but no damage to either the legs or drop-outs. Fork stanchions are unmarked and don't show and sign of wear discolouration:
Stanchions have 140mm visible - I can't actually remember what this equates to in travel. Probably 120mm or so:
The crown is undamaged apart from an area of cable rub (which wasn't my bloody doing!) which is cosmetic only:
Again, back of the forks shows no damage, although there is some lacquer starting to peel around the fork brace area:
Back of fork crown, nothing exciting to see here:
Front of fork crown. No race is fitted to the steerer, so you can add your own as required. Obviously, straight 1 1/8" steerer - we'll have no tapers round here!:
Lower magnesium alloy drop out and ISO disc mount in good nick:
Steerer cut down to 213mm:
How light? 3.6lb:
