Hi - I've always fancied trying these.

Can you tell me are they 1 1/8, the steerer length and whether you need a special headset?

They're not 1 1/8, they're a touch over 1 1/2.

You can't fit them to a regular bike with a 1 1/8 headtube.

Correct & the steerer is 190mm long.
