Sunrace wide range 9 speed cassette (11-40). Allows you to go 1x with your 9 speed system. Only used a few times before i went crazy and went 11 speed.

Hi, What 9 speed rear mech did you use to accommodate the 40T? Been thinking of doing something similar: Thanks in advance.

I will be using a sgs(super long cage)XTR M972 9 speed with this cassette and it will be fine. Its 100mm between centres on the jockey wheels. If you have a shorter GS mech I think removing the plastic collar at the B screw will open up more adjustment and it should work fine.

Or you can use a mech hanger extender. I did that and used a mid cage road mech.
