It's a bit of an odd one, Nick.

Aside from the inflated prices that people seem willing to pay for a Pinarello, like Colnago, it has had a re-spray. Taking away any 'patina' or signs of having been raced/trained on by the big man. (A hero of mine, btw)
It could well have been made for him, owing to the extended seat tube, along with the fork steerer which has been left deliberately long. I don't understand why the headtube wasn't extended instead.
I still think the price is optimistic, but that's just my opinion.

Love these earlier Pinas. Agree, it should have been left with the great mans race/training patina. COA with a signed letter from him etc to command this lolly.
