But a 80s / early 90s Basso would have almost definitely have pantographing on the brake bridge and fork shoulders if not also on the dropouts. I have a Serotta with similar 'fastback' stays.

I don't know what it is, but the stays are shot in (not fastback) - that is where the binder bolt is incorporated into the stay.

Small point.

Are you sure? They look like fastback to me and they're not shot in to the seat tube.
