It was great.

Fantastic day, great to meet so many great people. Some lovely bikes too.

I feel it was a bit like the first day if Big Brother though. Still don't know anyone's name!!!!!

So, i'll start:

I'm Andrew, the one with the Kilauea with yellow decals.

Oh and who's in charge here? I want my "retrobike rider" signature thingy

:)

Really enjoyed todays ride. The turnout of riders and bikes was fantastic. The weather was brilliant, not as hot as last year but just about perfect. Totaly knackered now! Thank you to LGF for guiding us round and sorting out the freebies from Gafham Cycling.

Yes, thanks for a top day to all who came.....I'm utterly knackered!....for those who couldn't make it try riding through your house and stop a every door holding it open for 12 people and bikes!......I have hosed the cow pats off the bike and my roses are growing splendidly.....

Again, thank you to you all for coming along. A good turnout, weather not too mad and the route seemed far easier this year!

Completely hopeless at putting names to faces so I leave you to fill the blanks and let everyone know who was who and all that.

Unsurprisingly with our high technology modern bikes, not one mechanical was had despite the harsh conditions at the pub...

Must ride backwards next time to get an equal tan on the other side of my arms. Great day out. Thanks.
Names to faces: I'm the one who insisted on splashing through all 4 muddy puddles on the hugely heavy and unnecessarily over-suspended Specialized FSR.

I'm not sure of the mileage andy.....I would say 25 miles but my sore arse would suggest 125......then again Matt did stop me with my dual controls in the lay-by at Corby and try to take advantage of me......

try??

Sounds like he succeeded!!

I'm still on quite a high, such a good ride, and feel quite fresh to be honest, apart from the sore arse!! (that lay-by was busy)
Such a great bunch, perhaps we have the makings of 1 or 2 teams for next years Mayhem!! Really want to do it next year now.

Hope to see you all around Grafham soon.

:D

I was the one in the Mint Tee on the yellow Tazmon.
Third photo from the top shows why I hate cameras...

Thanks LGF for arranging a cracking ride, can't believe the time went so quick.

Definitely up for that, and with Feetabixs' collection, we won't need to cart our own bikes along. I'll take the Dave Yates...

A respectable 23 miles then. I'll keep that in mind for next time. I wonder what happened last year then?
