The clockwork is now going down the route of a 1 to 1 1/8 stem shim. In the stash I had a new hope stem that was short enough for the job but the steerer clamp section is quite bulky and doesn't really suit the svelte steel frame. The risers don't really either but it's all about comfort.
Looking for something shortish with plenty of rise, can be retro or modern just needs to be black and fairly slim all round with a removable face plate to allow riser bar fitting.
A 1 inch stem that fits the bill would not be turned down either.
