If I can get a pass from the missus, I fancy a proper ride up in Scotlandcestershire sometime in October.

I have the bike:

I have the tent:

thats probably a £200 taxi ride from you
drag your sorry southern arse along to that

A few questions -

Will my nose bleed 3 feet above sea level?

Is the water ok?

Is there any food I should avoid - you know how it is in these foreign countries

The locals - are they scary?

My advice is to stick to the west coast ;) .better scenery, more hills. As the West coast is world famous for its sailing they're more use to receiving for foreigners with courtesy
* This courtesy comes from the highland clans who were known for their hospitality towards guests. After the rebellion many clansfolk moved to the west coast as they blame those buggers in the capital for selling out.
Thats why the west coast is the best coast

You've seen from previous posters how difficult it is to understand them   ,ok in written form perhaps, where you have time to glean the key words but their spoken dialect is another matter.

;)
