Oops looks like I'm not allowed to vote until I've done 10th posts - bugger. Guess i'll have to keep my newbie opinions to myself until i've talked to a few more people. Nice bikes this month too. Oh well - next time.

As usual, I vote the bike I would buy, which restricts the field to the 3 ti bikes. I'll go for the Parkpre because I used to have one like that. Nice!

Clockwork started it all for me back in the early 90's, and after saving my paper round money for nearly 2 years to replace my Raleigh Team Maverick there was only one choice for me then, and now.

Fellow cloggie stump'91 and his colourful Marin take my vote, lovely.

So how did we end up replacing such wonderfull coloured paint jobs for a choice of ano grey or Black?

Enjoy!!

Based this one purely on looks.

Arran's 1994 Avanti Competitor for me.

At Mossy's request I've pulled the GT Avalanche. It does seem likely it is Japan made by Toyo as gm points out. As others have stated it should have a serial number prefixed with T .

Some good bikes, any of which I'd be happy to own, but choice comes down to Avanti or Merlin for me, partly because of the "usual suspects" nature of many of the other makes. Let's see more of the lesser known brands.
