Hi, first post on here, sadly it's a wanted ad rather than discussing bikes for now!
I'm having trouble sourcing a replacement axle for my rear Hoffman Gack Girthy hub (from a Hoffamn Taj around 95/96 time). It''s 14mm and has cartridge bearings. I have contacted several shops who have been unable to help me, though I believe a generic axle could be found if I had the measurements for the space between bearing races!
So if anyone has a rear axle for this hub for sale I would gladly take it off your hands.
Alternatively, if someone has these same hubs and wouldn't mind letting me know the measurement of the 'thick' section in the middle that sits between the bearings so I could try and find a generic replacement I would be eternally grateful and repay you with some paypal beer tokens!
