1966 Mercian Superlight

I know some people have been following my progress as I sought to get my 1966 Mercian Superlight back on the road after it looked as if it had been left underwater for fifty years.

My progress in attempting to clean up and use as many of the original parts as possible is chronicled here….

Looking very smart and purposeful indeed.
This lovely machine just seems to get look better each time I see it. You've done a great job and it's nice to see it being refurbed rather than restored with a paintjob and new everything. Some machines look lovely with that but this wears its age very well.
