I got this as part of a 'Bundle' in a yard find, with it cam an Eddy Merckx Professional with fully panto'd Campagnolo Super Record, a Gazelle Champion Mondial AA and AB frameset, and a 35 litre rucksack full of Campagnolo-150 euros for the lot, on the AB frameset the Campagnolo Victory Gruppo was mounted

Nice finds :). Not my area of expertise but do the bolt in seat stays make it a record?

Shaun, with just a twinge of jealousy
 
I believe it's an early to mid 80's frameset, given the allen bolts on the stay caps.
As I was about to start building, I noticed hairline crack across the stay caps, eventually leading to one cracking right through

so, as you can imagine, i was feeling gutted,i mean, what's a bike freak to do in this kinda predicament?
I toued with the idea of finding a Knight in Shining armour/machinist/engineer to try to fix or find a solution,
but nah, i just found an earlier frame with out forks in the same size!

i will probably change tires for gum walls, and may extend to brooks barwrap as I'm liking the brooks, for once I found a frameset I feel is suitable for it
