Evening all,

Can anybody help identify this old girl.

I have just been given this by a friend who had it in their loft for over 20 years

It's a steely that I guess dates back to the 70's, the seat tube has a sticker that says ''Smiths'' but a google search throws up a few ''Smith'' bikes over the years but no ''Smiths''....

Could just be a sticker from a painter as it obviously been repainted at some point.

It's a mismatch of old parts with a campag seat post, campag changer and shifter, with Weinmann levers.

The rims are unbranded laced to large flange hubs and it has tubs.

Just wondering if the lugs could be identified ?

The bottom bracket shell has a stamping that reads ''RGP''

Any ideas greatly appreciated

Cheers
Paul :D

RGF are the bb shell maker, seems to have an oil hole as well. Lugs have a 60' look about them. Dropouts look pressed so maybe not top notch. Is there a number on it?

Interesting glowplug based aircon :)

Re:

Thanks Shaun,

There's a number on the bottom of the bb shell and it's 3060 ?

Been flying RC for over 25years and whilst most stuff is electric/ petrol these days the messy glow stuff still has a place in my fleet :D
