Taken from 1988 Peugeot that I am turning into single speed.

Please note that there was drivetrain advertised here but is now gone :D

Other bits:

https://photos.app.goo.gl/SdjabDqYgbKRNg7w5

ITM liner 100 stem. £20;
Mavic open 4 cd rear wheel with Miche Superfast hub and Miche quick release skewer. £35;
Shimano 105 levers. Original and includes the chasing so you can bury cables beneath tape. Fair condition. £15.
Sakae Champion bars. £10

Anyone wants job lot of other bits. It is £65 + pp.

All the stuff has been cleaned up and sprayed up lovingly!!
I found a gem in this bike as is 32 years old but has hardly been used and obviously been kept somewhere nice n dry!

Thanks

Could be interested in the rear wheel. Did the Shimano freewheel you also have come off that wheel? Just want to check the Miche hub takes a Shimano freewheel...

Pity the 105 levers are with white hoods, I'd have had them with black. I don't do white anything on a bike, it soon looks scruffy when I'm around

Might I suggest black hoods? Then, “Bob’s yer uncle”!

I guess these prices are all plus p+p, by the way?

Would be Parcelforce, I expect. Whereabouts are you?

I'm in Sheffield. I'm not sure about the wheel yet - very tempted, but I need to check another pair of wheels for suitability first...I'll let you know. Thanks.

No problem.

Just browsing Hermes and they seem much cheaper than Parcelforce. Think it would be around £5. I would, of course, post as per your wishes.
I might even keep it as a spare.
Anyway, let me know what you decide and we can go from there.
Have a mice day

Have a read on the mtb section about the horrors with Hermes. I can't comment from experience, but it would seem you get what you pay for, quality wise with Hermes
