Selling my beautiful pair of Assos wheels from the early 80's

Not much that I can say about the wheels that you probably aren't already aware of, but it may as well be said anyway - they're exceptionally good quality and (being one of the fore-runners of the aero designed rim from early 80's) are super rare.

This pair are in fabulous condition. The rims have no clear marks from braking and are as near to NOS as you can get. The hubs have minimal age-ing and are rolling silky smooth. The 6 speed (12-17) cassette is as sharp as you'd ever wish and free-wheels with a gorgeous 'clacking' that shouts early 80's campag.

The tubs are original Wolber Record and (obviously) need replacing, but their lack of wear is testament to how little these wheels have been used.

700c 28h Aluminum rim
Rim Height ~17mm
Rim Outer Width ~18mm
Campagnolo (C-?) Record hubs
Condition: 9.5/10

Hard to value as I've got nothing to compare them to, but given their fabulous condition and rarity, I'm suggesting £250ono.

***NOW SOLD***

Is that a freewheel and not a cassette?

Apologies - yes - it's a freewheel. Thanks
