This week I have been mostly jiggling! :xmas-big-grin:
Time for change at the looney bin. 2 carbon Judy's and an STS frame going out, new smaller STS, 2 Judy DHO's and a Heckler coming in! Yeehaa.

There was this weenie STS in California. And it was love at first sight.
"You have to have this..." my head said. "Sell everything and no more nights out!!" -So I did.

3 Days later this turns up.

There was a resealable bag taped to the underside of the chainstay. In there was an owners manual, front mech and a Fox air shock. Amazing.

I strapped it onto the outside of my rucksack and rode up the shop to get a headset fitted that I had sat waiting on a shelf. In and out in half an hour, leaving the staff drooling.
Another couple of hours was spent in the garage after that fitting the forks, front mech, stem, saddle, handlebar, shifters, a rear brake mock up, Facebooking and drinking beer which got it to this stage:

And that is where I'm at, at end of play today.
Have been onto Gil M. He's got decals for the forks on standby (Because those are really scuffed) and a front wheel is on the way. Just need to find a rear wheel and decide on brakes. :xmas-cool:

Slight lever change.
Had a surprise parcel from France (sometimes I buy so much stuff I forget what's coming. You know how it is... ;) ) and it's got XT STi's in it, so the LX levers are coming off.

Front Hadley (old) disc hub due just after Christmas.

Bits coming off are destined for the Heckler now.

There some nice forks lol

Making good use of what I've got! Every penny counts at the mo as I'm moving at the end of the month.
Van hire, deposits, admin fees.... it all adds up.

I only bought one bike part the whole of December, totalling: £16!

Nothing much to report; the Hadley hub is here. Also got NOS IRC El Gato tyres coming.
I'm still looking for something for the rear. Seen a nice Grimeca hub, which would match that red caliper (also Grimeca) but I haven't decided yet.
And rims. Silver D521's would be cool..

Got I think some 5 bolt discs and no 6 caliper to sort out for u

The Hadley hub is 4 bolt. Rear could be anything! The Grimeca hub I saw is a 6 bolt...
Will need one disc for the Lobo, but until I get it assembled I have no idea what size.
Cheers though. ;)
