What point are you making? John owns a car, does that mean retrobike now caters to cars? Surely if you have a modern bike and want to get someone to identify that modern bike why not go to a site that specialises in modern bikes rather than one that specialises in old bikes.
I am trying to help the OP as it is unlikely that they are going to get much interest here. Even if it's posted in the post 98 section are there honestly people who only ever visit that section and won't have seen it here. It's been up for a week with no interest so let's be honest with the OP -retrobike is not the best place to ID your modern bike.
Best bet is to try STW, Bikemagic or some other modern bike site. Likewise if you want to sell it, you will get a greater response from sites dedicated to modern bikes like this.
But if the parts are anything to go by it'll be from mid to late noughties
