My Tomac Mag

Well this is my Mag. She is my everything bike. Since I sold off my urban bike, my single speed is awaiting forks, and my bmx just feels too awkward off of the track, I pretty much just cruise on the dh. Put probably 10 miles a week on it now :( (as I go to school full time and work full time, my riding time is down to one day a week). Before, I was riding 6-7 days a week and doing about 100 miles a week. (Might not seem like much, but consider... I don't tram, I walk up everything with my heavy bike that I ride down. So those long 7 mile decents... get a 7 mile hike. Anyways, enough with the story. I'm starting to even bore myself with it.

here are the specs. (over complete, but then again it is nice to see how individual parts change over the years. Which parts have lasted me and which haven't.

My 03 Mag 204 (I'm also looking for a a first gen 204 if anyone has one!)
Re worked linkage. Phil Wood bearings. I was also the one that sourced up all the info for the Mag 204 and sent it off to J.S of Tomac when he took over (there was zip for actual specs around)
03 shivers w/ all stainless hardware. Custom lathed Stainless steel axle w/ cap design change and fix. (and 04 888's with 06 lowers)
Deity bars, ODI grips
Hayes Mech disc w 8in rotors, XT levers
Push'd RC shock (and ROCO WC whenever it's not blown up. Funny because the RC is still going strong after all these years)
Profile DJ arms (broke my profile race arms)
E16 bash, Custom Sharp BMX 42t chain ring. Home made chain guide using MRP rollers.
Azonic Seatpost which accepts 9mm rails (for when I run my dj seat)
Intense Mag 30 rims, Hadley front hub, custom laced on EDCO big rock 0 dish rear wheel on 24 in rim.
Panaracer 2.4 rear, specialized pro front.
King steelset with canecreek compression ring, seal, cap (replaces the king cap which is prone to creaks on long travel bikes).
LX der. that has some how survived since 02. I literally have no clue how it has made it through 2 dh bikes. Once again, good ol rock solid part :)
Forte Carbon saddle, XS street / dj bmx saddle w solid 9mm rails.

Slew of new parts, and old. Obviously there is a lot of new parts since I break quite a few parts each season from bails.

Just rebuilt my forks 2 weekends ago and painted them w/ epoxy paint. New seals. I shoulda done bushings but I'll probably do em in a few weeks. Running gold spectre 5 weight in both the shivers and 888's. Well, just switched to 5 weight in the shivers and holy mother of hell.

Slowly changing every bolt out on the bike to grade 10+ stainless. No more strippage! ntm they look purty!'

That is a sweet ride :D
Thx man. If only I could find a first gen frame in mint condition! I was thinking about picking up a primer for my next frame, but by the looks for it I'm going to go towards a Canfield F1 Jedi as it better suits my riding type.

:) would love to just for the linkage, but my eyes are on a lawwill. I plan on making a stainless or 4130 rear for it and use it as my main bike... well, unless I pick up a canfield jedi, then I'll just be doing it so I can experience a lawwill bike. I know there are a few specific places on the lawwill's that cracked, which is one of the reasons I want to make a new rear. The second is so I can utilize a 150mm x 12mm rear and utilize newer parts.

Anyone know if there is a delayed turn around for Draco stuff? I just ordered a 26 Halo SAS rim and def wanting to pick up a 165mm draco and axle so I can swap btw 24 and 26 in wheels and not have to re-lace the wheels to do so.
